Copper State Chaos: The Biggs Files; Tariffs Are Taxes; ‘Biggs’est Loser

THE BIGGS FILES: This week, the Arizona Republic spotlighted "The Andy Biggs Files,” Copper State War Room’s website exposing Biggs’ decades-long record of protecting pedophiles and sex traffickers, including Warren Jeffs. As Arizona Senate president, Biggs blocked bipartisan legislation that would have protected underage girls from sexual abuse and forced child marriage, cast the lone "no" vote on tougher child prostitution penalties, and was one of two lawmakers who voted against releasing the Epstein files in committee — later calling accountability efforts a "gotcha game."

TARIFFS ARE TAXES: Andy Biggs’ Washington tariffs are the largest tax hike on Arizonans in 50 years. Todd Sanders, CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, put it bluntly in a recent interview: "We need to call these [tariffs] what they are… these are taxes." Arizona Chamber of Commerce CEO Danny Seiden agreed, warning tariff costs get "transferred down to the consumer." Nationally, Americans have shouldered 90 percent of the tariff bill, and Arizona families alone are paying over $2,200 more since 2025 — yet Biggs insists the tariffs are "not inflationary" and claims Washington has "tamed inflation."

‘BIGGS’EST LOSER: In a Fox News interview Wednesday, former GOP Speaker Kevin McCarthy sounded the alarm over Andy Biggs’ partisan, extremist record, saying: “I’m worried about Arizona because I don’t think the Republican nominee we have, Biggs, could cut across and get moderates.” Former Governor Jan Brewer echoed this, warning independents would "never" back Biggs and that if “Andy wins, we lose the general [election].”
