New Report: Arizona Families Are Paying $1,000 Thanks to Iran War That Andy Biggs Supports

The Washington Post reports American households are shelling out an extra $1,000 due to the war in Iran that Andy Biggs has consistently voted to continue. This crushing burden comes on top of the $2,200 Arizonans were already paying for goods and services because of Biggs’ cost-hiking votes, which is driving grocery, gas, shipping, and living expenses to all-time highs. 

Even his own allies acknowledge Biggs’ responsibility for rising costs. Biggs voted for the war in Iran four straight times. He also voted to protect cost-hiking tariffs, supports expanding them, and praised them as “a brilliant economic strategy.” Biggs has claimed that there is "no inflation," said that the tariffs were “not inflationary,” and argued that Washington has “tamed inflation” and “brought everything back down.”

If that wasn’t enough for Arizona families, Biggs supports a harmful scheme that would raise the sales tax 23% on everything Arizonans buy.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

"Andy Biggs keeps choosing Washington's agenda over Arizonans’ wallets. Gas, groceries, prescriptions, utility bills — the costs keep climbing, and now Arizona families are paying $3,200 more because of his cost-hiking votes.”
