Copper State Chaos: SOS Please; Some of You May Die; Six and Counting
9/18/26, 2:00 PM
Welcome to Copper State Chaos, Copper State War Room's weekly recap of the extremism, chaos, and out-of-touch agenda Andy Biggs is bringing to the general election.
This week, Andy Biggs once again showed Arizonans exactly who he is—and why he can't be trusted to put Arizona first.
Don’t miss this week’s chaos:
SOS PLEASE: With 19 days to early voting and 46 days to Election Day, Andy Biggs’ campaign has yet to gain any momentum. While Republican strategists are asking whether the “cavalry” is coming, Biggs’ allies at Turning Point are publicly begging the Republican Governors Association (RGA) to step in and save Biggs. The RGA, meanwhile, has twice declined to commit to wasting money on Biggs’ “floundering” campaign. You can read Copper State War Room’s State of the Race HERE.
SOME OF YOU MAY DIE: A new bombshell report by the Arizona Mirror highlighted Andy Biggs' push, as a state senator, to abolish Medicaid, which covered nearly 1.4 million Arizonans at the time — including nearly 100,000 Arizonans with severe mental illness or developmental and physical disabilities. Asked about people who relied on the program, Biggs responded: “What did they do before we built the infrastructure?” The reporting from the Arizona Mirror provides a stark answer: people who need Medicaid are more likely to die when they lose access to it. His own party rebuked the plan, warning it would gut rural hospitals. Two years later, Biggs fought Gov. Jan Brewer’s effort to expand Medicaid and provide healthcare to 300,000 more Arizonans.
SIX & COUNTING: This week, Biggs voted to continue the Iran war for the sixth straight time as Arizona diesel hit new highs above $6.30/gallon — topping $6 nationally for the first time ever, costing Arizona households an estimated $1,650 and counting. Biggs said he was more worried about a "gotcha" that would embarrass the president than lowering costs and has continued voting to keep the war going as Arizonans pay more at the pump.
That’s all for Copper State Chaos this week. Biggs can try to run from his record, but he can't hide. Copper State War Room will keep the receipts. Thanks for reading – we’ll be back next week to keep tabs on the chaos. Have a great weekend!
