đ¨Andy Biggs Finally Acknowledges He Is Raising Costs on Arizonans
6/5/26, 7:30 PM
In a new report by Arizonaâs Family, Andy Biggs finally acknowledged what Arizona families already know: his agenda is driving up costs, especially at the gas pump.Â
After Biggsâ vote against Wednesdayâs bipartisan resolution to end the war in Iran, the reporter recapped their conversation, with Biggs acknowledging that there has been âsome downsideâ due to the war, which has been âcosting people, particularly at the pump.â But Biggs made clear he was more concerned about avoiding a political âgotchaâ that could âembarrass the presidentâ than lowering costs for Arizonans.Â
Now we know why Andy Biggs doesnât like answering questions about his record: when he finally does, thereâs no way to avoid discussing how he raised costs on Arizona families.
Both Biggs and David Schweikert voted against the bipartisan resolution, despite skyrocketing gas and diesel prices already squeezing Arizona families and small businesses.Â
This is the third time that Biggs and Schweikert have voted to keep costs high and continue selling out Arizonans. Last time Arizonans asked Biggs to explain his cost-hiking votes on Iran, he refused to answer.Read more below:
Arizonaâs Family:Â Rep. Biggs votes against limiting Trumpâs war powers in IranÂ

Four House Republicans joined Democrats to limit President Trumpâs war powers in Iran, but Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs was not among them.
The five-term congressman, who is also running for Arizona governor, voted against the resolution.
Biggs calls vote a âpolitical trapâ
âI think that was a Democrat gotcha vote where they wanted to embarrass the president. Iâm not into embarrassing the president,â Biggs said.
All six Republicans in the Arizona congressional delegation voted against the resolution. That includes Rep. David Schweikert, who is also running for governor.
The measure still needs to pass the Senate. If approved, it would force Trump to withdraw military forces from the ongoing war or seek congressional approval.
Biggs said he doesnât think it will come to that.
âI believe that thereâs an incredibly high likelihood that this thing get resolved in the next few weeks,â Biggs said.
