Copper State Chaos: Gasp, the Temerity!; Credit Is (Not) Due; Flailing
10/9/26, 5:00 PM
Welcome to Copper State Chaos, Copper State War Room's weekly recap of the extremism, chaos, and out-of-touch agenda Andy Biggs is bringing to the general election.
This week, Andy Biggs once again showed Arizonans exactly who he is—and why he can't be trusted to put Arizona first.
Don’t miss this week’s chaos:
GASP, THE TEMERITY!: Angry Andy Biggs had a rough Tuesday night at this week’s “will never be governor” debate, where he lashed out at the “temerity” of being confronted with his dangerous record. Biggs was called out for refusing to sign the bipartisan Epstein Files discharge petition, and for blocking legislation that would have protected underage girls from abuse and forced child marriage under Warren Jeffs in Colorado City. The Arizona Republic highlighted his shifting explanations on the bill. The more Arizonans learn about his record, the more his campaign flounders and the angrier Biggs becomes. Nothing makes Andy Biggs lash out more than being confronted with his own record!
CREDIT IS (NOT) DUE: On Monday, Andy Biggs attempted to pad his credentials in front of Taiwanese dignitaries and leaders at the opening of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Phoenix. Unfortunately for Biggs, his own record tells a different story: Biggs voted against the CHIPS and Science Act, the law that helped make Arizona a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing, generated tens of thousands of jobs, and protected America’s national security. He even dismissed it as containing “far too much waste.”
FLAILING: For weeks, Andy Biggs’ campaign has been characterized as “floundering,” “underwater,” “desperate,” and searching for “proof of life.” Even as Turning Point tries to salvage his “lackluster” campaign, Republican strategists say it is still “flailing” and directionless. This week KTAR’s Bruce and Gaydos echoed that assessment, and last week, they reported that Biggs’ fellow Republicans were refusing to go on air to defend him because he “is just too far gone” and “is going to lose.”
That’s all for Copper State Chaos this week. Biggs can try to run from his record, but he can't hide. Copper State War Room will keep the receipts. Thanks for reading – we’ll be back next week to keep tabs on the chaos. Have a great weekend!
