Andy Biggs’ Campaign Searching for “Proof of Life” After Another “Horrible Week”

9/28/26, 1:00 PM

For months, fellow Republicans have voiced growing frustration with Andy Biggs and his flailing campaign. This past week made clear just how dire things have become and just how badly Biggs is floundering as Election Day nears.

Read more about a week so bad that Biggs lost his temper at reporters simply asking about his own voting record:

  • 12News, Arizona’s Family, and Arizona Capitol Times all called out Andy Biggs’ six votes against ending the war in Iran, after Biggs falsely claimed, “I don’t support the war,” and challenged reporters to “tell me when I voted for it once.”

    • 12News’ journalist Brahm Resnik opened “Sunday Square Off” with this fact check, while panelist Elvia Diaz of NOTAS was blunt that this was “a horrible week for Republicans.”

  • MAGA radio host Garret Lewis of “The Afternoon Addiction” piled on again, saying "nobody is going to pay attention" to Biggs or his press conferences — his campaign, in Lewis' words, "is just not happening."

  • KTAR’s Bruce and Gaydos described how Biggs is "grasping at straws,” while comparing him to a “loser” like Kari Lake.

  • KTAR’s Mike Broomhead joked that “he was in trouble” for acknowledging that Gov. Katie Hobbs “is winning” against Andy Biggs, stating: “Let’s be honest… She is!”

  • On KJZZ’s The Show, Stacy Pearson tore into Biggs, noting that the RGA twice refused to invest in Biggs’ doomed campaign, that national Republicans “do not deem him a potential threat” to Gov. Katie Hobbs, and that Biggs is “trying to find something to say or do that shows proof of life for his campaign.”

    • Chip Scutari reiterated that at Biggs’ Tuesday event, Biggs’ sparse crowd “didn’t look like a winning campaign,” and that Biggs losing his temper with reporters “was not good form.”

  • In the Phoenix New Times’ Best of Phoenix 2026, Andy Biggs won “Best Turning Point employee,” for being “content to let TPUSA stuff him in a backpack and carry him around the state.”

    • Turning Point was caught generating AI fantasies of bipartisan support, including deepfaking a Democratic lawmaker who is not supporting him. The Arizona Republic noted how “Biggs couldn't name a Democrat who supports his campaign.”
