NEW Audio: Conservative Radio Host Slams Andy Biggs, Says He “Obviously Made Gas Costs Go Up Significantly,” Is “Not Out There,” And “Should Delete” His New Attack Ad

Even Andy Biggs’ allies are sounding the alarm about his struggling campaign and how he owns the reckless Washington agenda driving up costs for Arizona families.
On last Thursday’s episode of “The Afternoon Addiction,” conservative radio host Garret Lewis torched Biggs’ latest campaign video as “horrible” and “so bad” the campaign should “delete it” entirely. He specifically warned Biggs that he was drawing attention to his own support for the war in Iran and the rising gas prices hurting Arizona families, saying, “Why would you [Biggs] want to open yourself up to rising gas costs when you [Biggs] support the president's war in Iran, which has obviously made gas costs go up significantly?”
Lewis later admitted that “Andy Biggs is in lockstep” with President Trump and Washington Republicans as inflation and energy prices continue to rise because of the conflict.
The criticism did not stop there. Lewis also blasted Biggs for barely campaigning at all, saying, “You have to be out there,” and later adding, “I need to see that you want this, and I'm not the only one.” A frustrated Biggs supporter who called into the show questioned whether Biggs even wants to win the governor’s race, saying: “If he doesn't care whether he wins or loses, and he obviously doesn't, then neither do I.”
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Even Andy Biggs’ closest allies are admitting that his reckless Washington agenda has driven up costs for Arizona families and that his campaign is failing to answer for it. Biggs supported the cost-hiking agenda that sent gas prices soaring, and now his own supporters are publicly begging him to change course. No matter what Andy Biggs says or does, even his closest allies know he cannot escape his record of hiking costs for Arizona families.”
READ THE AUDIO TRANSCRIPT:
“Andy Biggs' campaign released a video today. I'm told it's not an ad because they haven't put it up on radio or TV. They just put it on their website. Have you seen this? It's already been attacked, and honestly, it should be attacked. Honestly, they should delete this. They should delete the social media posts where they put this up. It's so bad."
"Why would you want to open yourself up to rising gas costs when you support the president's war in Iran, which has obviously made gas costs go up significantly? Why do that? There was a lot of messages in that. Why is it so overthought? That's horrible."
“Stay the hell away from gas. And you could blame, I don't buy it, but people can blame Trump for this too, because inflation has gone up because of the Iran War, everything is driven by energy, and Andy Biggs is in lockstep, and I'm glad about it with President Trump. Why would you even mention this stuff?”
"You have to be out there. I understand he's got a congressional job. I get it. He signed up to run for governor, and I'm thankful he did, but he signed up for this. Who on his team was like, we should put something, do an ad, put a video out there about gas prices. What the hell? Leave that out! I need to see that you want this, and I'm not the only one."
[BIGGS SUPPORTER]: “Hey, Garrett, are you sure Andy Biggs is running for governor? Because I'm not. If he doesn't care whether he wins or loses, and he obviously doesn't, then neither do I.”
“Let's do better than these stupid ads.”
