Today, AZ04 Congressman Greg Stanton joined LD5 Representative Sarah Liguori and Keep Arizona Blue Organizing Director Dafne Zamora to call on Andy Biggs to sign the discharge petition to release the Epstein Files.

Andy Biggs was one of only two Republicans on a House Oversight Subcommittee to vote against releasing the Epstein Files. Following this committee vote, Biggs refused to sign the original bipartisan discharge petition to force the release of the Epstein Files, dismissing accountability as a "gotcha game" and "PR stunt."

Biggs has another chance to sign the discharge petition, which needs two more signatures to force a vote in the House. This continues a pattern of Biggs being on the wrong side of legislation intended to protect women and children from pedophiles, including his decision to block bipartisan legislation that would’ve protected underage girls in Colorado City from sexual abuse and forced child marriage under Warren Jeffs, a convicted child rapist and cult leader.

AZ04 Congressman Greg Stanton:

“Arizonans deserve to know where Andy Biggs stands before they start casting their ballots. So the question for Andy Biggs is simple: Will you sign the bipartisan discharge petition to release the remaining Epstein files — yes or no?”

LD5 Representative Sarah Liguori:

“[Andy Biggs] has spent his entire career letting Washington dictate his every move, even when it means turning his back on survivors. Arizona mothers are watching, and we want an answer… Why hasn’t Andy Biggs signed the bipartisan discharge petition to release the remaining Epstein files?"

Keep Arizona Blue Organizing Director Dafne Zamora:

“In Washington, Andy Biggs has called the release of the Epstein Files a ‘PR stunt.’ Protecting women and children is not a PR stunt. It is not a game. It is the most basic responsibility anyone in public office can have. Survivors deserve leaders who believe them, not politicians who call their pain a stunt.”
