Today, Karrin Taylor Robson's super PAC released a new TV ad that rewrites history, hiding that Taylor Robson is a lifelong political insider who supported raising costs on Arizonans. Here is the truth:
CLAIM: “President Trump needed a conservative leader. He turned to Karrin Taylor Robson because she isn't another career politician.”
THE TRUTH:
Karrin Taylor Robson has long lauded her presence in the political arena, bragging that she “got her start in utero.” Her father was the State Senate President and the former chair of the Arizona Corporation Commission. Taylor Robson aspired to “follow in [his] footsteps” for the three decades he held office and has been described as “the scion of a political family.”
Karrin Taylor Robson is so disliked by Arizonans, including her own party, that Trump’s own consultants bailed on her, and Donald Trump himself decided to endorse her opponent Andy Biggs in what Arizona Republicans called a “death knell” blow to her campaign.
After 30 years as an out-of-touch billionaire corporate lobbyist, Taylor Robson quietly unregistered the day before the state Legislature considered a bill banning lobbyists from holding statewide office.
CLAIM: “She's a tough, conservative, successful businesswoman who will balance the budget, cut wasteful spending, secure our border, and bring down costs for Arizona families.”
THE TRUTH:
Billionaire Karrin Taylor Robson can’t be trusted to bring costs down for Arizona families. She has fully backed federal tariffs that are driving up grocery prices and day-to-day expenses to all-time highs.
Karrin Taylor Robson is too weak to stand up for Arizonans. She failed to stand up to Washington insiders who authored the largest cuts to Medicaid in Arizona history and who champion the most expensive grocery prices Arizona has ever seen. She also refused to stand up for victims of sex trafficking, calling the Epstein files investigation “a distraction.”
Overall, these latest desperate attempts from Taylor Robson to rewrite history are more proof that the GOP primary is only going to get more chaotic and expensive.
