Copper State Chaos: Angrier Andy; Failure To Launch; Birds of a Feather

10/16/26, 6:45 PM

Welcome to Copper State Chaos, Copper State War Room's weekly recap of the extremism, chaos, and out-of-touch agenda Andy Biggs is bringing to the general election.

This week, Andy Biggs once again showed Arizonans exactly who he is—and why he can't be trusted to put Arizona first.

Don’t miss this week’s chaos:

ANGRIER ANDY: On Arizona Family’s “Politics Unplugged,” Andy Biggs completely melted down when pressed on why he blocked a bipartisan bill to protect girls in Colorado City from a cult run by convicted child rapist Warren Jeffs. Biggs called the interview “grossly unfair,” the host “despicable”, and the line of questioning “a piece of crap.” Despite this, Biggs repeated that the bill “was assigned appropriately,” while admitting he “understood the ramifications.” That tracks with the Arizona Republic, which caught his ever-changing excuses, and the Arizona Capitol Times, which described his tactic as one “typically used by legislative leaders to sentence proposals to an early death.”

FAILURE TO LAUNCH: KTAR’s Larry Gaydos spoke with a Republican consultant, who described how Biggs and his campaign are “failing to materialize in a meaningful way in this election.” Early voting is underway, and Election Day is 18 days away, yet the more Arizonans learn about Biggs’ record, the more his campaign flounders and the angrier Biggs becomes.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER: Yesterday, Andy Biggs’ “valued ally" Matt Gaetz was named in a federal civil lawsuit involving “an alleged sex trafficking scheme involving young women, drugs and traveling across state lines.” Plaintiff Jane Doe 1 alleged that “she witnessed Gaetz having sex with a girl who was 17 at the time.” Biggs proudly features Gaetz’s endorsement on his website, the latest development in Biggs’ decades-long history of siding with pedophiles, sex traffickers, and abusers, including Jeffrey Epstein and Warren Jeffs.

That’s all for Copper State Chaos this week. Biggs can try to run from his record, but he can't hide. Copper State War Room will keep the receipts. Thanks for reading – we’ll be back next week to keep tabs on the chaos. Have a great weekend!
