Biggs Uses Trump’s Cell Phone Number To Mock Schweikert

4/22/26, 6:00 PM

Washington cheerleader Andy Biggs is once again making his relationship with Donald Trump the centerpiece of his campaign, and this time, he’s dialing it up to take a swipe at his opponent, David Schweikert.

At last week’s Trump rally, Biggs told the crowd a story about missing a late-night call that turned out to be Trump himself. When Biggs called back, Trump asked: “Who is this?” In a joke to the audience, Biggs pretended to respond: “David Schweikert?” – mocking that Schweikert did not attend despite the event being held inside of his district.

This isn’t the first time Biggs has bragged about his phone calls with Trump. Last year, he boasted: “There’s a difference between being endorsed by President Trump and being endorsed by President Trump and having his personal cell phone number… and I got it.”

Schweikert has tried to keep up, claiming, “I have the same thing,” and bragging that he speaks to the White House “every other day” about tariffs. No matter who is dialing for approval from Washington, Biggs and Schweikert are united in backing the same cost-hiking agenda — supporting tariffs that raise prices, voting to rip away healthcare and spike premiums, and putting Washington ahead of Arizona families.

.Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“Andy Biggs and David Schweikert are more concerned with who has Trump's cell phone number than lowering costs for Arizonans. Despite families facing record costs at the checkout line, the fuel pump, and the doctor’s office, Biggs and Schweikert continue to dial  Washington for instructions on how to hike costs even more.”
