Dialing for Donald: Schweikert Joins Biggs and Taylor Robson in Racing To Speed-Dial Trump

David Schweikert’s entrance into the GOP gubernatorial primary has added yet another layer to this desperate contest, with his latest brag about having the president’s cell phone number and speaking to the White House about tariffs “every other day” serving as the newest proof.
At rallies and in interviews, Andy Biggs has bragged that what sets him apart is having the president’s personal cell phone number, boasting, “There’s a difference between being endorsed by President Trump and being endorsed by President Trump and having his personal cell phone number… and I got it.”
When pressed by an AZ Family reporter on whether she had the number too, Karrin Taylor Robson’s campaign dodged, saying only that she has a “great relationship” with the president. And now David Schweikert has joined the club — responding to a reporter’s question about Biggs’ claim by saying, “I have the same thing.”
In the end, it’s loyalty to Washington, D.C.—not Arizona—that defines this GOP primary, with Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert all united behind the same toxic agenda of gutting healthcare and supporting tariffs that are skyrocketing everyday costs.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert are all trying to prove who’s got the president on speed dial — but the only people they hang up on are Arizona families. While they chase calls from D.C. to hike costs and gut healthcare, Arizonans are the ones who are left disconnected.”
