Angry Andy Biggs Throws Temper Tantrum When Confronted on His Record of Protecting Pedophiles

On Arizona Family’s “Politics Unplugged” this past Sunday, Andy Biggs completely melted down when confronted about his decades-long record of voting against legislation to protect children and victims of sexual abuse, lashing out at the host and repeatedly objecting to his questions.
Pressed again on why he blocked a bipartisan bill to protect girls in Colorado City from convicted child rapist Warren Jeffs, Biggs repeated that the bill “was assigned appropriately,” while admitting he “understood the ramifications.” The host fact-checked him in real time, reminding him, “You’re Senate President… You’re in power at the time,” and adding, “You’re the one running for governor.” That tracks with the Arizona Republic, which caught his ever-changing excuses, and the Arizona Capitol Times, which described his tactic as one “typically used by legislative leaders to sentence proposals to an early death.”
Biggs responded by throwing a tantrum, calling the interview “grossly unfair,” the host “despicable”, and the line of questioning “a piece of crap.” The more Arizonans learn about his disqualifying record, the more his campaign flounders and the angrier Biggs gets. Over the past month, he’s had multiple angry outbursts whenever he’s confronted with his record. Even KTAR’s Larry Gaydos said Friday he has never “heard a gubernatorial candidate sound like such a wuss.”
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Angry Andy Biggs’ newest campaign strategy is to throw a tantrum when confronted about his decades-long record of siding with pedophiles and sex traffickers. But no outburst can distract from his record of defending corrupt pedophile rings, including those of Warren Jeffs and Jeffrey Epstein.”
