Out-of-Touch Andy Biggs Mocks Arizonans Working Second Jobs To Make Ends Meet

8/7/26, 11:00 AM

At his Goodyear rally last week, Andy Biggs mocked Arizonans working multiple jobs to provide for their families. After lashing out at Gov. Katie Hobbs for taking on an extra job driving Uber to make ends meet, he said that his running mate Sine Kerr "may not drive an Uber, but she knows how to drive a tractor."

This is no surprise coming from a $10 million sweepstakes winner who has never had to bear the burden of his cost-hiking votes, unlike working Arizonans. Americans have shouldered 90 percent of the bill from Biggs’ cost-hiking tariff agenda, and Arizona families alone are paying over $2,200 more since the start of 2025.

From repeatedly backing tax hikes on Arizonans to claiming that there is "no inflation" and that Washington has “tamed inflation,” Biggs has sided with Washington over Arizona, leaving workers and families behind every single time. He’s voted four straight times to protect tariffs, continue the war and keep gas prices high, and cut healthcare for hundreds of thousands while raising monthly premiums.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

"Andy Biggs has no clue. After voting to raise costs and backing a 23 percent tax on everything, he is mocking Uber drivers who are working hard to make ends meet. Since Andy Biggs looks down on Arizonans who work for a living, how can he ever be trusted to fight for them?”
