NEW Audio: MAGA Radio Host Reacts to Basement Biggs, Says Biggs’ Campaign Is “Kind of Trying, But It Is Just Not Quite Working”

6/3/26, 8:30 PM

On yesterday’s episode of “The Afternoon Addiction,” MAGA radio host and top Andy Biggs ally Garret Lewis continued to lambast Biggs’ basement campaign as he reacted to Copper State War Room’s Basement Biggs website.

Lewis read his own criticism of Biggs’ campaign that was featured on the Basement Biggs website, saying, “You have to be out there,” and piled on by adding, “I need to see that you want this, and I'm not the only one.”

After reading this live, Lewis opined about how the MAGA base wants “energy,” “excitement,” and if “you want the base to be with you, [...] there’s got to be more to it.” Lewis is trying to muster a supportive comment about Biggs’ campaign but falls short: “they are kind of trying, but it is just not quite working.” He also encouraged Biggs to be more “real” and “authentic.”

Lewis notes that Biggs and “his people can’t stand when I say these things.” In Lewis’ defense, he is not the only Biggs ally sounding the alarm. Other MAGA radio hosts, as well as multiple live callers, continue to ask the question: When will Biggs and his campaign come out of the basement to answer for his extreme record?

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“It speaks volumes that the day after Basement Andy Biggs’ record of running away from tough questions is front and center, even his most vocal MAGA allies are asking: where is Andy Biggs?”
