TARIFF OR TREAT? Halloween Prices Soaring as a Result of Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert’s Spooky Tariffs

10/31/25, 6:00 PM

On Halloween, Arizonans are facing a real fright: soaring price increases for their Halloween costumes, candy, and decorations. Halloween candy is skyrocketing to “record levels,” and it’s all thanks to the reckless tariffs every GOP candidate for governor supports.

Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert have all staunchly defended the federal tariff tax hikes that are squeezing Arizonans. The holiday season is usually a bright, happy time for families to approach the end of the year, but thanks to Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert, Arizonans are forced to do more with less.

Higher Halloween costs are just one of the ways Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert are making things more expensive for Arizonans. The day after Halloween, 900,000 Arizonans are set to lose their lifeline for food, and hundreds of thousands of Arizonans are staring down exponential increases in healthcare costs because of the partisan DC budget. Trick or treat.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“The spookiest thing this Halloween isn’t ghosts or goblins — it’s Arizona’s skyrocketing cost of living, driven by the reckless tariffs every GOP candidate supports. While families are frightened of rising grocery bills and everyday items soaring, Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert are busy brewing up more Washington tricks instead of helping Arizona families.”
