Donald Trump Said, “Groceries Are Down. It’s All Down.” What Do Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert Think?

Yesterday, Donald Trump said once again that “groceries are down, it’s all down” when referring to prices, despite his tariffs directly contributing to all-time highs in grocery prices and day-to-day costs. Do the Arizona GOP candidates agree that costs have gone down?
Andy Biggs' campaign just bragged yesterday that Biggs votes with Trump more than any other member of Congress. Karrin Taylor Robson said that “President Trump and his policies … are my policies,” admitting that she would be a shameless rubber stamp for his agenda, no matter the cost to Arizonans. David Schweikert took credit for setting Washington’s toxic agenda, boasting about “doing the calculations” on the tariffs with the White House.
Goldman Sachs recently published a report that indicates domestic consumers are shouldering the majority of tariff cost hikes. With grocery prices reaching all-time highs for Arizonans, do Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert agree that prices are going down?
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“After shamelessly backing Washington’s cost-hiking agenda, all three GOP candidates need to come clean with Arizonans about the higher grocery prices they are responsible for – on everything from beef to coffee. Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert must answer: do they agree with Trump that grocery prices are going down, or will they stand up for Arizonans who are getting squeezed by higher costs at the checkout line every day?”
