NEW: Andy Biggs Backs Trump’s Effort To Reinvestigate Arizona’s 2020 Election

A new report from the Arizona Republic is detailing how Andy Biggs is continuing his years of extreme election denialism by backing Donald Trump’s latest efforts to attack Arizona elections.

After the FBI subpoenaed Arizona’s electoral records from 2020, the Arizona Republic wrote that Biggs believes “another review of the extensively reviewed 2020 election was needed,” with Biggs saying:

“The argument is that there was some stuff that wasn't done correctly, and they're gonna look at it." 

It’s nothing new for Biggs and David Schweikert to follow the extreme Kari Lake playbook of focusing on conspiracy theories and trying to overturn free and fair elections. Both Biggs and Schweikert denied and refused to certify the 2020 election results.

Even worse, Biggs was credited with helping plan the January 6 attack on the Capitol, begging Trump for a pardon, and then ignoring the congressional subpoena that followed. To this day, both Biggs and Schweikert have refused to answer who won the 2020 election in Arizona.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“Andy Biggs and David Schweikert are so spineless that they would rather push Kari Lake conspiracies than defend the will of Arizona voters. Arizonans deserve leaders who will actually focus on making their lives better, not spend all their time relitigating an election from nearly six years ago.”
