Karrin Taylor Robson Says She "Can’t Do Much” as Governor To Lower Costs for Arizonans, Too Weak To Stand Up for Arizona Families

In a new interview, Billionaire Corporate Lobbyist Karrin Taylor Robson desperately attempted to distance herself from the economic pain Arizonans are facing, admitting she “can’t do much” as governor, even though she continues to support the very harmful agenda that is raising costs.
After backing cost-hiking tariffs that are crushing Arizona families, here are some of the things Taylor Robson says she “can’t do much” about as governor:
Skyrocketing grocery prices, including coffee rising 22 percent and ground beef following at 17 percent, breaking all-time highs again and again.
Small businesses feeling the pinch of tariffs, shouldering operating cost increases of up to 50 percent and passing those costs on to Arizonans, including a Yuma café owner who voted for Trump twice and says tariffs are forcing her to raise prices on customers.
Homebuilding costs continue to fluctuate with uncertainty over back-and-forth tariffs on lumber and other building materials, which are pushing homeownership even further out of reach for Arizona families.
Skyrocketing utility bills driven upwards by tariffs on steel and aluminum, which increase the cost of building and repairing the power grid and pass those expenses on to Arizona families.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Billionaire Corporate Lobbyist Karrin Taylor Robson’s admission that she ‘can’t do much’ about rising prices is all Arizonans need to know: she can’t be trusted to stand up for them as governor. After backing cost-hiking tariffs and ignoring the pain small businesses and families are facing, Taylor Robson has made clear she’s more interested in protecting her own interests than helping Arizona families afford everyday essentials.”
