GOP Primary Unravels: Taylor Robson Tanks, Biggs Hit With Text Attack, and Schweikert Slammed

Less than two weeks after Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert  traded holiday haymakers, the GOP primary is unraveling. At last weekend’s Maricopa County GOP meeting, Taylor Robson pulled just one vote in a straw poll: a result Biggs’ campaign consultant mocked as “more accurate than Civic Lens,” referring to the poll her team had previously promoted. This jab follows Schweikert's urging Taylor Robson to drop out, labeling her “unelectable” and claiming her “days as a viable candidate” have “always been numbered.”

The turmoil is spreading across the GOP field. Biggs faced his own firestorm as unnamed rivals blasted text messages highlighting his two-decade history of protecting sex traffickers. However, Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert all stand for protecting pedophiles, because they have yet to call for the full release of the Epstein files.

The attacks didn’t stop there. Arizona Freedom Caucus founder Jake Hoffman slammed Schweikert for overseeing “$30 TRILLION in new national debt” as a “uniparty ‘team’ player.” However, Hoffman’s critique applies equally to his own preferred extremist, Biggs, who joined Schweikert in voting to add $3.3 trillion to the national debt last summer to pay for billionaire tax breaks, a bill supported by all three candidates.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“The Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert primary has become a race to the bottom. As 2026 begins, Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert are throwing harder punches in an increasingly chaotic, bitter, and expensive primary free-for-all, leaving whoever survives too damaged to win in November.”
