Copper State War Room Announces “Biggs Costs” Tour Highlighting Andy Biggs’ Washington-First, Cost-Hiking Agenda

Today, Copper State War Room has announced its post-primary tour, “Biggs Costs,” highlighting the disastrous, cost-hiking agenda of Andy Biggs. Biggs has consistently prioritized Washington over Arizona, and this tour will make sure voters understand exactly how his record is making life more expensive for Arizona families.
This tour coincides jointly with the launch of another Copper State War Room “5 Days, 5 Ways” press release series, taking a deeper dive into how Andy Biggs is making Arizona families pay more.
Over the coming days, the “Biggs Costs” tour will stop in Phoenix, Yuma, and Tucson, putting a spotlight on the ways Andy Biggs’ Washington agenda is raising costs for Arizona families. Here’s what the tour will cover:
Andy Biggs wants a 23 percent tax hike on everything Arizonans buy. Biggs has repeatedly backed a 23 percent sales tax, meaning higher costs on everyday purchases like groceries, clothing, school supplies, and household essentials. He has even called this new tax his "most passionate" tax policy.
Biggs voted to protect and expand the cost-hiking tariffs causing groceries to hit all-time highs, praising tariffs as “a brilliant economic strategy.” Biggs has claimed that there is "no inflation," said that the tariffs were “not inflationary,” and argued that Washington has “tamed inflation” and “brought everything back down.”
He voted to cut Arizonans’ healthcare and raise monthly premiums by 30 percent. Biggs also voted for the war in Iran three straight times, personally casting the deciding vote that ignored bipartisan attempts to lower gas prices.
And despite the toll the Washington budget has taken on Arizona families, Biggs has called the cost-hiking partisan budget a "good thing" and has pushed for "the more cut approach.”
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
"Andy Biggs has one answer for every problem: make Arizona families pay more. Whether it's higher grocery prices, higher healthcare costs, higher gas prices, or a new 23 percent sales tax on everything Arizonans buy, Biggs has consistently backed policies that make life more expensive. The 'Biggs Costs' tour will make sure voters know exactly what's at stake."
