Copper State Chaos: Schweikert’s “Warpath” and Kari Lake 2.0

SCHWEIKERT’S “WARPATH”: In a new report, Arizona’s Family discovered that Republican gubernatorial candidate David Schweikert distributed a campaign mailer holding opponent Andy Biggs accountable for documented affiliations with white supremacist and antisemitic groups. Schweikert’s latest, “downright nasty” offensive informs voters that Biggs "hangs with racists," citing Biggs' endorsement of candidates who bragged about owning Mein Kampf. This follows a recent radio interview where Schweikert highlighted Biggs’ ties to the militant white nationalist Proud Boys as a key difference between the two.

KARI LAKE 2.0: On Monday, the FBI seized 2020 election records in a shameful  attempt to relitigate an election decided nearly six years ago. Andy Biggs and David Schweikert have consistently amplified election falsehoods pushed by Kari Lake and refused to stand up against attacks on Arizona’s elections. Both Biggs and Schweikert denied and refused to certify the 2020 election results. Even worse, Biggs was credited with helping plan the January 6 attack on the Capitol, begging Trump for a pardon, and then ignoring the congressional subpoena that followed. Their actions contrast with those of former Republican Governors Jan Brewer and Doug Ducey, who defended the election’s integrity and constitutional process against Trump’s efforts to overturn it. Brewer called Trump’s raid in Georgia “not constitutional” and “out of line,” while Ducey maintained that Arizona laws made it “easy to vote and hard to cheat.”
