Biggs and Schweikert Again Choose Washington Over Arizona by Opposing Bipartisan Housing Bill
6/24/26, 9:30 PM
Both Andy Biggs and David Schweikert have once again shown their true colors and put the interests of Washington ahead of lowering costs for Arizonans.
Just yesterday, they both voted against a bipartisan housing bill that would lower barriers for working families to build and purchase homes. This bill would’ve capped corporate investors from buying more than 350 single-family properties.
Their vote is the latest example of a pattern that has made life more expensive for Arizona families. Biggs and Schweikert have backed tariffs that drove up grocery prices, supported deep healthcare cuts in their partisan budget bill, and voted for the war in Iran that has driven up prices at the pump.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“After already raising the cost of groceries, gas, healthcare, and housing, Andy Biggs and David Schweikert once again voted against a bipartisan plan to lower housing costs for Arizona families. While they continue to prioritize partisan Washington insiders, Arizona working families are once again forced to shoulder the expensive, cost-hiking effects of their unpopular DC agenda.”
