Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert Back Tariffs as Arizona Families Face Largest Grocery Price Spike Since the Pandemic

Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert continue to back Donald Trump’s tariffs, which caused the largest monthly grocery price spike since the pandemic and cost Arizona families $310 more in 2025.

Yesterday, in comments detached from reality, out-of-touch Andy Biggs boasted that consumer prices are down, before subsequently deeming the current times an economic “Golden Age.” Billionaire corporate lobbyist Karrin Taylor Robson said that “America is coming back.”

All of the candidates have cheered tariffs that are causing higher grocery prices for Arizonans. Biggs called tariffs “a brilliant economic strategy.” Karrin Taylor Robson and David Schweikert have also backed tariffs in full, and Schweikert even bragged about “doing the calculations” with the White House on tariffs. All three candidates ignore Arizona families and business owners across the political spectrum who shoulder the ever-increasing costs resulting from this disastrous economic policy.
