Andy Biggs Keeps Protecting Pedophiles and Sex Traffickers As His “Valued Ally” Is Accused of Sex Trafficking Across State Lines

Today, Andy Biggs’ “valued ally" Matt Gaetz was named in a federal civil lawsuit involving “an alleged sex trafficking scheme involving young women, drugs and traveling across state lines.” Plaintiff Jane Doe 1 alleged that “she witnessed Gaetz having sex with a girl who was 17 at the time.”
Biggs proudly features Gaetz’s endorsement on his website, the latest development in Biggs’ decades-long history of siding with pedophiles, sex traffickers, and abusers, including Jeffrey Epstein and Warren Jeffs. And when confronted about his record, Biggs melts down.
In 2013, Biggs blocked a bipartisan bill to protect girls in Colorado City from convicted child rapist Warren Jeffs.
In 2007, Biggs cast the lone “no” vote in committee against bipartisan legislation toughening penalties for child prostitution — a vote that prompted the Arizona Republic to run a piece titled, “Biggs Puts Pimps, Johns Ahead Of Child Protection.”
In 2005, Biggs was one of only four state legislators to vote against SB1338, an anti-sex trafficking law designed to protect children.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“For decades, Andy Biggs has stood with pedophiles and sex traffickers, and he still proudly calls accused child sex trafficker Matt Gaetz a ‘valued ally.’ Arizonans deserve answers for Biggs’ record of failing to protect women and children and why he is endorsed by an accused sex trafficker of underage girls.”
