LISTEN: Conservative Allies Torch Out-of-Touch Andy Biggs: “How Do You Understand the Everyday Arizonan?”
3/31/26, 9:00 PM
Last week, out-of-touch Andy Biggs came under friendly fire after mistakenly showing his true colors on the Conservative Circus podcast. This started after Gov. Hobbs met with food truck owners in Tucson to discuss how DC is raising their costs, from tariffs to fuel prices, and affecting their bottom line.
Just minutes after Biggs’ on-air appearance, conservative hosts James T. Harris and Mucho Martinez spent several minutes eviscerating Biggs for saying he wouldn’t eat a taco out of fear of getting his shirt a little dirty.

The hosts mimicked Biggs’ comments in false voices, pondered whether they should show the Congressman how to eat a taco, and labeled his comments “a disaster.”
“This is my problem! This is Arizona, and if you don't know how to eat a taco – I don't care if you lick your fingers – how do you understand the everyday Arizonan?” asked Martinez. “How can I trust you to be behind that desk here in Phoenix, in the Capitol, knowing that there's people out here suffering – everyday people, they're going to eat Taco Tuesday – if you can't even eat a taco?”
Great question, Mucho. We couldn’t have phrased it better if we tried.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Washington insider Andy Biggs is all-in on a cost-hiking agenda that’s squeezing small businesses like taco trucks, from the ingredients they use to make the food, to the fuel they use to run the engine. Even Biggs’ own allies agree that he’s out-of-touch and can see that he’s more concerned about getting his shirt a little dirty than standing up to Washington’s costly agenda. ”
