Copper State War Room Statement on Supreme Court Tariff Decision

Copper State War Room released the statement below from spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado after the Supreme Court ruled against Donald Trump’s tariffs – tariffs repeatedly backed by Andy Biggs and David Schweikert despite bipartisan efforts to lower costs for working families:
“After the Supreme Court ruled Donald Trump’s sweeping tariff scheme illegal, the question for Andy Biggs and David Schweikert is simple: will they oppose Trump’s new 10 percent tariff, or will they once again stand by as he pushes a tax on virtually everything Arizonans buy?
Biggs and Schweikert have already voted twice this month against bipartisan efforts to reverse Trump’s tariffs and lower prices for families and small businesses.
Arizonans deserve leaders who fight to bring prices down, not politicians who rubber-stamp the next round of price hikes.”
