Biggs Still Won’t Explain Why He Campaigned With White Supremacists and Antisemites

As attacks continue to fly in the chaotic GOP primary, Andy Biggs is still refusing to explain why he campaigned white supremacists and antisemites.
Even after David Schweikert called out Biggs for “associating with white supremacists and engaging in anti-Semitism,” Biggs refused to offer an explanation or disavow the extremist groups. The Biggs campaign “did not answer a question about why Biggs attended that event,” and has called the attacks a distraction. Biggs also invoked Confederate General Robert E. Lee when doubling down.
Adding to the mess, Schweikert was caught having his own ties to one of the extremist groups he’s been using to attack Biggs. A report from Arizona’s Family recently detailed how his campaign “begged” the white nationalist youth organization to hold a campaign event with them.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Instead of refusing to answer questions or pointing to Robert E. Lee to defend himself, Andy Biggs should disavow these extremist groups and explain why he campaigned with them.”
