Basement Biggs Skips Arizona PBS Event Instead of Answering Questions About His Extremist Record

Basement Biggs lived up to his name tonight, skipping Arizona PBS’ “Candidates in Conversation” rather than answering any questions about his record.

Biggs continues to refuse to answer basic questions about his support for cost-hiking tariffs, his votes for healthcare cuts that have increased costs for Arizona families, his role in trying to overturn Arizona’s 2020 election results, and his ties to the extremist figures and organizations that even his own Republican opponents have repeatedly raised concerns about. 

And yesterday, new reporting highlighted how Biggs continues to run from his record, saying that “Biggs has never provided a full account of his activities surrounding the failed attempt to overturn the 2020 election results and the attack on the Capitol that followed.”

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“Instead of answering questions about his support for cost-hiking tariffs, his votes for healthcare cuts that are driving up premiums, his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, and his actions leading up to January 6, Basement Biggs chose not to show up. Those questions aren't going away, and neither are the Arizonans who deserve answers.”
