Arizona Gas Prices on Track To Hit $6, Set “All-Time Records” Under Biggs and Schweikert’s Cost-Hiking Agenda

4/28/26, 7:00 PM

Arizona gas prices could hit new “all-time records” exceeding $6 per gallon if the war in Iran continues, according to Gas Buddy. There’s no clear end in sight, and both Andy Biggs and David Schweikert have backed the policies keeping gas prices climbing.

Even Washington leaders admit there’s no relief in sight, with U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright and President Trump acknowledging that fuel prices could remain high or “maybe a little bit higher” into 2027. And when fuel and diesel costs spike, it drives up prices across the board, from groceries to everyday goods, further squeezing Arizona families.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“With gas prices hitting all-time highs, there is no end in sight to Andy Biggs and David Schweikert’s cost-hiking agenda. Biggs and Schweikert have already failed Arizonans, and now they are sticking families with the bill.”
