Arizona’s Latino Small Businesses Frustrated at Biggs, Taylor Robson, Schweikert’s Tariff-First Agenda

1/16/26, 7:00 PM

New data this week shows that Latino voters, and particularly small business owners who backed Donald Trump in 2024, are fed up with the tariff-first, cost-spiking agenda backed by Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert.

In a new report in Politico, Arizona’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President said that its membership felt “a sense of betrayal” as a result of these tariff tax hikes, which experts noted hit Latinos “dramatically” more than others.

Arizona business owners, including repeat Trump voters, have voiced their frustrations, but Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert refuse to acknowledge their pain.

Arizona’s Latino vote is critical to the path to victory in November, and Latino voters are already noticing—and rejecting—the agenda pushed by Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert that drives up costs for Arizona families and small businesses.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

“Latino voters and small business owners feel betrayed by Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert, who refuse to stand up to their own party that is attacking small businesses. This November, Arizonans won’t forget that Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert cheered on reckless tariffs that drove up costs for small businesses.”
