Andy Biggs Votes To Let Scammers Rob Arizona Seniors

6/29/26, 7:30 PM

Once again, Andy Biggs has found another way to put Arizona families last.

Last Thursday, Andy Biggs was one of only two members of Congress to vote against the Financial Exploitation Prevention Act, bipartisan legislation that would allow greater oversight for financial institutions to delay or intervene in suspicious transactions where there is reasonable doubt of a scam or financial exploit targeting older Americans.

It's the latest example of Andy Biggs putting partisan politics ahead of Arizona families. Biggs voted against a bipartisan housing bill to help Arizona working families buy homes. He backed tariffs driving up grocery prices. He supported healthcare cuts that sent monthly premiums soaring. He voted three times to keep gas prices high. And now he's voted to leave Arizona seniors defenseless against scammers.

Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:

Andy Biggs put his partisan politics first and Arizona seniors last by voting against a commonsense, bipartisan bill to protect seniors from scams. Whether it's housing, groceries, or healthcare, Andy Biggs has made a habit of voting against Arizona families and leaving Arizonans to pay the price."
