Andy Biggs’ Nightmare First Week of the General Election

It has been one week since Andy Biggs limped into the general election for Arizona governor, despite fellow Republican candidate Scott Neely warning that Arizona Republicans "don't need another Kari Lake loss," and Congressman David Schweikert arguing that "every data point" shows Biggs cannot win a general election due to his extreme record. 

In the past week, Biggs' disastrous record has been laid bare: protecting a corrupt pedophile cult, opposing investments in child safety, denying the will of Arizona voters, and pushing Washington’s cost-hiking agenda onto Arizonans.

Here’s a look back on Andy Biggs’ disastrous week:

• Biggs abandoned Arizonans on Election Day, too busy begging Washington special interests to save his flailing campaign in Aspen, Colorado.

  • As the Associated Press detailed, “Biggs faced travel problems leaving a Republican Governors Association meeting in Colorado, according to senior adviser Drew Sexton, and didn't reach his victory party in Scottsdale until more than three hours after he won the race. By the time he took the stage, the crowd of hundreds had dwindled to dozens and he spoke to a mostly empty room.”

• Biggs' disturbing efforts to shield child predators, including killing a bipartisan bill to end the rape kit backlog and keep the Epstein Files hidden, have been exposed.
