Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert: All Too Weak To Stand Up to Their Party and Lower Healthcare Costs
1/8/26, 10:30 PM
As both Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. House voted to extend ACA tax credits and lower healthcare costs, Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert once again proved they are too weak to stand up to their own party when it comes to lowering costs for Arizona families.
Today, Andy Biggs and David Schweikert voted against a bipartisan measure to lower healthcare premiums. Instead of using this opportunity to advocate for lower healthcare costs for Arizona families, Karrin Taylor Robson stayed silent, refusing to support a commonsense bill to make healthcare more affordable.
As a result of the partisan Washington budget they all backed, 423,000 Arizonans are facing skyrocketing healthcare premiums.
Copper State Victory spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado said:
“Instead of backing this bipartisan plan to help address rising costs, Andy Biggs, Karrin Taylor Robson, and David Schweikert proved they’ll put their own party ahead of Arizona, even as families are facing skyrocketing costs. Whether it’s voting against lowering healthcare costs or refusing to speak up at all, Biggs, Taylor Robson, and Schweikert all showed they are too weak to stand up to their party, and Arizonans are paying the price.”
